About Our Company
“We are serious about traditional butchery – quality of produce and customer satisfaction.” Our story begins in 1990 when company founders Michael Bermingham and Karl Freeman completed their apprenticeships.
Starting M&K Meats from a former butcher shop (Gormleys) in Driminagh, Dublin, in 1991 the company offered local retail sales and also began a wholesale side of the business suppling local and city centre restaurants.
